The public lecture, “What's the BIG deal about MICROplastics?” took place on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the 801 Ocean Drive Event center. The lecture was presented by Dr. Maia McGuire. Dr. McGuire also conducted an Educators Workshop the next day at the Oak Island Recreation Center.
